Martina Botti
I am a writer and philosopher.
I am currently pursuing an MFA in Fiction at NYU, where I am a Writers in the Public Schools Fellow. My fiction has been published in The Kenyon Review and won third prize in the 2025 Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Competition, judged by Jamel Brinkley. I am at work on a novel.
I also have a PhD in Philosophy from Columbia University, where I specialized in metaphysics and ancient philosophy, and have taught at Columbia, NYU, and The New School. You can find more information about my research here; more information about my teaching here; and my CV here.
